Hana was very excited. Gina was excited but a little worried about meeting the larger than life santa she pictured in her head. Mimi was terrified as we threw her in and tried to snap the picture before she cried. It didn't work. But it was still pretty cute. We'll try again next year!

Halloween in Seattle
So here is our little bunch. Bill grew out his mustache for a charity event at Microsoft so he just kept it for his Halloween costume, which is Super Mario brother. Mi-Mi was a little pumpkin, Ha-na was a butterfly and Gina was a bumble bee! We went to Microsoft to trick-or-treat in the office buildings and then Church had a festival for the kids too. However 45 minutes into the trick-or-treating both girls proclaimed that "My tummy doesn't feel so good." The many joys of Halloween! But all in all it was a long but happy, candy filled day!

Old friends, New friends
OK. OK. OK.
Sorry it's been a while since i have written anything. But i plan on doing better. (That's the plan anyways.)
We met old friends and new baby friends in L.A. on our trip to DisneyLand. It was a nice shopping center near the hotel. The girls enjoyed being out in the sun and playing near the fountain, after being cooped up in a small hotel room. :)

Alice, her baby Eliot, Hana, Karen, her Baby Ryan, karen's Baby Abby, Gina, Me and Mina.
This is a photo of my oldest friends from when we were about 5 years old. It's amazing that we are still friends after all these years. And now we are adults and have kids of our own. It's funny how much we act like our own mothers! I can see it now that we have kids. It was so nice to see their new babies. We always said we would take family vacations together so maybe 2008 will be the year to see it come to fruition!

After wards, we went to mahattan beach with alice, kevin and baby Eliot. It seemed pretty cold but after your feet were in the water for a while it didn't feel so bad. The girls had fun digging holes and trying to run away from the incoming tide. They tried and i thought they were going to make it home relatively dry. But then Gina fell and went totally underwater and of course then Hana did too. (Alice said she had flashbacks to when my little brother, John, as a child, floated out to sea at a park back in Ohio). I should have my mom license revoked for going to the beach with no swimsuit or extra clothes. What was i thinking? So we wrapped them up in some of MiMi's blankets and they fell asleep on the ride back to the hotel. But all in all, they had a good time at the beach.

I'm tiny.
Tonight was the last day for Vacation Bible School. There was carnival tonight to cap off the week. Bounce houses galore! Hana and Gina waited for a good 10 minutes and made it into the first bounce house. It was the obstacle course kind. They made it through to the final slide and Hana comes out giddy with happiness. Gina comes out a minute later crying because some 5 year olds had come down the slide and ran into her. She refused to look at another bounce house the rest of the night. She refused everything for a while and just wanted to sit in the stroller. Gina finally relented to getting her face painted. She did perk up after that. So the night wasn't a total loss for her, after all.
It's amazing how different Hana and Gina are. Hana is so great at getting out there and doing stuff and meeting new kids. Gina will cry if a 1 year old looks at her funny. She's so fragile. We say she'll always be the baby in the family.
I asked Gina to grab her pj top from the hanging organizer in her closet tonight. She thought i meant the closet top shelf. This is our conversation:
me: Go grab that purple pj from that shelf.
G: I can't. It's too high.
me: Yes, you can. It's that one right there. Stick your hand up and you can reach it.
G: (looking at the top shelf) I CAN'T! I'm too smaaaallll.
me: Yes you can. You just need to try. The purple one on the lower shelf.
G: I CAN'T!! I'm too small (very sadly).
She gets a bright idea. and looks at me.
G: You get it! You're tall. I'm tiny. But you're tall!
I laughed pretty hard over that conversation. Picture Gina's sad little face and voice saying all this. So cute! So funny!

Well, finally our site is up. It's exciting. I've been thinking about a blog or something of the sorts but just thought i wouldn't have much to say. But now that Bill set up our own site, I guess I'll give it a go.
I hope you all enjoy the site - even if it's mostly to see the girls.
I hope i can do them justice and keep you all updated on our/their lives.
Welcome. and Enjoy!
Hana & Gina started vacation Bible school this monday. They go from 9am to nooon. I forget how easy taking care of 1 child was. I'm so taken aback with my (almost) free time that I don't know what to do with myself. But Mi-Na and I have been enjoying our time together. We shop and get some errands done - all the while being able to focus on our little MiMi. She is such a happy baby. It's nice to be alone with her, even for a few hours.
Next week they are going to another church's Bible school.
I picked up Gina today and I guess she had fallen off of the bounce house so she had a minor bump on her forehead. But it doesn't seem to bother her. However, I did notice the nosepads on her glasses are all contorted now. I guess from the fall. Not that that's a new thing - falling or messed up glasses.
Mi-Na has gotten 6 teeth all in a matter of a month. Poor thing. But she seems to be handling it pretty well. Though she keeps biting when she nurses. I don't know how to get her to stop. Hana & Gina only had to tell/yell "no" one time and they never bit again. Mi-Na has a mind of her own. I'm hoping that she will start eating food so i can start decreasing the nursing. But she still has no desire to eat food.
